Bulletproof glass must use an anti-spall film to prevent injuries from splattered debris. Bulletproof glass is generally very thick, and when struck by a high-velocity bullet, the glass fragments on the surface can disperse at high speeds. Even if the bullet does not penetrate the glass, the splattered glass fragments can cause serious injuries or even be fatal to people within a certain range. Anti-spall film not only enhances the overall bulletproof performance but also contains the fragments within the bulletproof glass system, minimizing secondary injuries. We recommend using anti-spall film on the inner side, or on both the inner and outer sides, of bulletproof glass.
